CIDM members and colleagues invite you to the 8th Annual Best Practices conference in San Diego, California on September 18–20, 2006. The Best Practices conference provides a forum for senior managers in information development, training, and content management to share ideas, discuss current issues, solve day-to-day problems, set long-term goals and strategies, keep abreast of new developments and technologies, and network with a community of professional colleagues from around the world. 

This year’s Best Practices conference theme focuses on collaboration and globalization within our organizations. The theme book for the conference is The World Is Flat by Thomas Friedman.  We are lining up an impressive array of managers to share their experiences.  Speakers from Medtronic, IBM, John Deere, and other companies will be represented.
