Palo Alto, CA
Date:
26 Mar 2012 - 08:30 - 30 Mar 2012 - 04:30
Event Type:
Training Class

The DITA Boot Camp covers the concepts needed to move to DITA successfully. In this workshop you will get the core values of structured writing, information modeling, minimalism, business-process change, and DITA authoring, publishing, and implementation. Learn the structures of the core DITA information types: task, concept, and reference.

The workshop is a mix of conceptual and hands-on: students are asked to understand the framework and best practices, then perform exercises to practically apply and reinforce the learnings.

The Boot Camp workshop requires that you bring a laptop computer and sample documents to complete exercises. Be prepared to use an XML editor to author topics.
