Content silos are the enemy of enterprise content strategy. Content standards can break down those silo walls, but can face both technological and cultural adoption barriers.

Lightweight DITA addresses both through a lightweight standard that can be implemented in familiar tools that allow integration across silos and authoring communities.

This presentation will focus on one or two use cases for lightweight DITA adoption beyond technical communication, and show how the standard can be adapted to a diverse set of tools and requirements, enabling integration across the content management ecosystem.
