A DITA Wiki for DITA Users

We are happy to announce the fifth in our DITA Users network of DITA support websites.

www.ditawiki.org

DITA Wiki is an extensive wiki packed with over 600 pages of initial content, including placeholder pages for all the major DITA tools, vendors, and professional services.

It offers the complete DITA Architectural and Language Specifications in a form that supports both comments and discussions.

Our DITA Infocenter already publishes the DITA Specifications in an Eclipse Help format that makes them very searchable, with a table of contents and index. The DITA Infocenter also searches the DITA Open Toolkit User Guide.

But the Infocenter does not allow comments and discussions, as does the new DITA Wiki. We hope lively comments and discussions will provide valuable feedback to the DITA Architects working on DITA development.

DITA Wiki has a draft Glossary of DITA terms, and People pages for the major contributors to DITA.

DITA Wiki is built on the robust MediaWiki technology that drives the Wikipedia. It is open and free. Register today to begin making your own contributions to this powerful DITA knowledge base.

Each of our DITA websites is optimized for a different community collaborative function. They use different content management tools, but share information architecture and top-level navigation design for consistency in user experience.
