IXIASOFT announces “Certified” partner status with JustSystems for DITA CMS product integration
March 26th 2007 – Montreal, Canada – IXIASOFT, the market leader in XML database and content management solutions, announces their partnership with JustSystems, a leading global enterprise software company. IXIASOFT joins JustSystems’ Partner Program as a Certified Solution Partner with regards to its DITA CMS Framework solution. JustSystems unveiled its 4-tier Partner Program in January of this year.
The DITA CMS Framework is a content management solution designed to support the entire DITA documentation process. The solution is aimed at organizations looking to increase their content reuse, improve content consistency, enhance team collaboration and lower translation costs. Developed using Eclipse as the UI, the CMS offers users two types of integrations with JustSystems’ XMetaL authoring software: an integration with XMetaL XMAX and another with XMetaL Author Enterprise Edition. By offering these authoring options, IXIASOFT can truly leverage XMetaL’s various authoring environments and is able to deliver solutions that exactly fit with customer requirements.
The CMS integration using XMAX (the embeddable version of XMetaL Author) provides users with a single interface with an advanced DITA customization. Users find this approach appealing since they can perform all tasks - from authoring and searching, to managing and publishing their content, all from within the same UI.
For users who prefer using the desktop version of XMetaL Author, IXIASOFT provides an integration using XMetaL Connector, the dedicated integration layer between XMetaL and content repository and management systems. This approach enables users to fully leverage the XMetaL native authoring interface and its extensive feature set.
