We are looking for talks that fit closely to this year’s theme:

"Content Integration: Leveraging Content Standards to Improve Customer Experience"

Presentations that cross departmental silos – technical documentation, support, marketing, engineering, other – using DITA, and implementations with subject matter experts or non-technical authors are especially welcome.

We are looking for stories that explain the journey and the people and process issues relating to getting a solution functional. Next generation implementations where systems installed 3 or more years ago have been built upon for increased benefit are also interesting.

Speakers receive free entry to the two-day conference.

Date and Venue:

25-26 May 2011. Arora Hotel, Gatwick, UK (Workshops on the 24th)

Congility 2011 is going to address questions like:

  • How can we build a Content Strategy that is based on solid business strategy?
  • How can we make content agile and flexible enough to be leveraged across departments, websites, documents, projects and initiatives to help customers or would-be customers achieve their goals?
  • What are the steps required to optimise delivery of user-oriented, tailored information?
  • How can we share content standards across teams with different goals, budgets and agendas?
  • If content is a strategic business asset, then what is the ROI of optimising it?

Presentations should be educational, conceptual or "thought-leading" oriented presentations, i.e., not a commercial sales pitch.
