DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) is widely known as the 'new' standard for authoring, producing and delivering technical information.  But it is no longer new: DITA has finally come of age.  At the recent DITA Europe Conference 2008, over 145 content specialists and technical authors gathered to learn from early adopters of the standard and to find out more about the benefits it offers.  Attendees discovered that DITA is already achieving success for companies such as STMicroelectronics, and new solutions are now available that make it easier to migrate to this standard.  DITA has matured into a viable and flexible architecture that can be easily adopted.
