Contribute content

DITA XML.org is a community-driven site. You are encouraged to:

  • Contribute to the DITA knowledge base by editing and creating collaborative Wiki pages.
  • Post news, events, product and services listings, testimonials, and recommendations on DITA resources. Other people will be able to append comments but will not be able to directly edit what you post.
The first step is a one-time registration. After logging in to the site, you will be able to:

- Edit an existing wiki page by select the "Edit" tab under the page title. In the "Body" window, add and/or revise content using the WYSIWYG interface or (optionally) html. Preview and submit your changes.

- Add a new wiki page by choosing the "Wiki" custom form. (You must be logged in to access this page.). Use the drop down "Parent" menu to designate where your page should appear in the main wiki outline. Complete the "URL path settings" field to give your page a meaningful URL.

Alternatively, you may add a new wiki page from the edit window of an existing page. Simply type your new page title surrounded by double brackets.

- Post news, events, product and services listings, testimonials, and recommendations on DITA resources using custom forms. (You must be logged in to access this page.)
