Marilyn is employed at Dovetail Software where she develops and writes online help for Dovetail's Customer Service and Support software. She previously held positions in Austin, TX and in the Silicon Valley at Borland Software, Remedy Software, Sybase Incorporated, and Informix Software. As a Principal Information Developer and Team Lead at Borland Software, Marilyn acted as chairperson for the Cross-Documentation Architecture Team. With the help of the Information Services team, the architecture team led a successful conversion to DITA for multiple teams across Borland by using agile methodologies. Marilyn has extensive experience with agile SCRUM methodology, lean documentation, software development lifecycle, DITA, XML, HTML, wiki, GUI design, usability, and single-sourcing.
