March 12, 2014, Vancouver, Canada: Bluestream Database Software Corp—a provider of DITA-enabled Component Content Management System (CCMS) solutions—is pleased to announce the out-of-the-box integration of Adobe FrameMaker 12 and of the new Adobe FrameMaker XML Author with Bluestream’s XDocs CCMS.

This integration is accomplished through the DITA-FMx plugin and XDocs FMx connector, both from Leximation, Inc., who have been providing integration between XDocs and FrameMaker since FrameMaker version 7.2. 
The integration of Adobe FrameMaker XML Author now allows for seamless interaction between the FrameMaker authoring environment and the XDocs repository.  FrameMaker users can now easily browse content in the repository, check in and check out resources, create and update resources, and more—all directly from within the FrameMaker authoring environment and while maintaining the integrity of all links in the content and maintaining the integrity of content versions. 

Adobe FrameMaker 12 and FrameMaker XML Author users can now enjoy the benefits of Adobe's new XML/DITA and DTD supported authoring and publishing tools along with the full benefits of the XDocs CCMS end-to-end content creation, management, localization, and publishing solutions; and XDocs users can enjoy the popular FrameMaker and XML Author products now fully integrated and with XML/DITA and DTD support.
