Welcome to the DITA XML.org Focus Area.

This is the official community gathering place and information resource for the DITA OASIS Standard.

DITA builds content reuse into the authoring process, defining an XML architecture for designing, writing, managing, and publishing many kinds of information in print and on the Web. The standard is advanced through an open process by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee, a group that encourges new participation from developers and users.

There are two main sections on this site:

DITA Knowledge Base provides technical and educational information on the standard. Content for this section is created and maintained by the Focus Area's Editorial Board.

DITA Community enables the public to create and edit content, contributing to collaborative documents and adding to group posting pages. A simple, one-time registration is all that's needed to participate.
