Welcome to the DITA XML.org Focus Area.
THIS SITE IS CURRENTLY IN BETA FORM.
Users are welcome to review content, but full functionality is not enabled at this time.
This is the official community gathering place and information resource for the DITA OASIS Standard.
DITA builds content reuse into the authoring process, defining an XML architecture for designing, writing, managing, and publishing many kinds of information in print and on the Web. The standard is advanced through an open process by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee, a group that encourges new participation from developers and users.
There are three main sections on this site:
DITA Knowledge Base provides a reliable technical and educational background on the standard, as compiled by the DITA XML.org Focus Area Editorial Board.
DITA Today serves as a community bulletin board and directory where readers share topical information and recommend useful resources.
DITA Wiki enables the public to dynamically collaborate on documents and add new pages to the site through a wiki interface.
All pages are accessible by the public. This is a community-driven site, and the public is encouraged to contribute content. A simple, one-time registration is needed to contribute content.
