Plans for future versions of the DITA Open Toolkit

The latest version of the DITA-OT 1.5.4, which was released December 15, 2011.

Development of new releases takes place using an Agile development process, with several iterations that will accumulate new items until we have enough for a release. Each iteration ends with a Milestone build that is available for testing.

The next version of the DITA-OT will be version 1.6.

New items for consideration should be submitted to the project page at SourceForge. Any open item on the SourceForge bug tracker, patch tracker, or feature tracker is a candidate for a future release.
