Plans for DITA Open Toolkit version 1.4.2

Version 1.4.2 primarily includes maintenance bug fixes. This list contains all items expected to be in the 1.4.2 build. The current target for DITA-OT 1.4.2 is April 30, 2008.

Milestone builds for DITA-OT 1.4.2 are available at SourceForge. Milestone 1 was released March 20, 2008:

Included in 1.4.2

DITA-OT 1.4.2 will be the first release available in three different binary packages. A new package called the "minimal" package is available for use by those who do not need the toolkit's documentation directory or samples. In addition, the "full" package from previous releases will now be called the "full easy install" package, with the expectation of a name change to "easy install" in DITA-OT 1.5.
