DITA Open Toolkit version 1.4.2

DITA-OT 1.4.2 was released April 30, 2008. Version 1.4.2 is a maintenance release which includes primarily bug fixes, along with a few small patches and enhancements.

An earlier Milestone build of DITA-OT 1.4.2 was released on March 20, 2008. The list of fixes in that build has been merged with the final list below.

Release Notes

Release 1.4.2 comes in three versions:

1. The "Minimal" package contains only the core processing code.
2. The "Standard" package contains the core processing code, plus demos, documentation, and samples.
3. The "Full easy install" package contains the standard package plus external libraries useful for many toolkit processes (such as Xalan and ANT), plus a batch file to setup a local environment. In following releases this package will be known as the "Easy install" package rather than the "Full easy install" package.

Inprevious releases the "Full easy install" package was known as the Full package; with release 1.5 we expect to transition to the name "Easy install" for this version. More information on packaging is available at DITA-OT Packages.
