This special one day session will teach you to learn what it takes
to create and publish DITA-structured documents using the
industry-leading tool: Arbortext Editor.
What is Arbortext?

Arbortext product suite offers solutions at every stage of information
development from defining, authoring, illustrating, to managing, and
delivering content. Arbortext is an end-to-end product information
delivery system that automates the authoring and publishing processes
for the delivery of high quality, tailored product information in the
form of operator manuals, service documentation, and eLearning
courseware.
Arbortext & DITA: As the first vendor to support DITA at
IBM, the first vendor to support DITA editing, and the only vendor to
participate as a founding member of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee,
PTC has led the way for DITA adoption. DITA was developed on Arbortext.
We will provide you with all of the student materials, refreshments and food.

For an additional optional fee you can purchase the JoAnn Hackos book “Introduction to DITA: A User Guide to the Darwin Information Typing Architecture Arbortext Edition”. This book is a must have resource for anyone authoring in DITA.
In addition, attendees who would like to keep a copy of Arbortext Editor for their own use will be able to purchase a personal non-renewable, 1-year license.
