Her interests include DITA training and best practices, build automation, and strategies for helping writers make the transition from book to topic-based writing. She has presented at numerous conferences on such topics as DITA short descriptions, IBM Task Modeler, and prototyping online information.

Gershon has successfully implemented several DITA-based XML and CMS solutions.
