DITA Open Toolkit Version 1.6

Note: while the DITA Standard itself is owned and developed by OASIS, the DITA Open Toolkit is an independent, open source implementation of the standard.

DITA-OT 1.6 will be a new major release based on version 1.2 of the DITA Standard. The 1.6 release will take place as a series of 3 week iterations, with each iteration ending in a Milestone build available for testing.

The first test build of 1.6 may be downloaded here in early February, 2012: DITA-OT Latest Test Build. Not sure which version to download? See DITA-OT Packages.

Release dates

Expected release dates for each milestone will be posted shortly, after the primary DITA-OT developers meet to begin release planning. The first milestone test build will tentatively be created in early February 2012.
