Calenco is an XML CCMS (Components Content management System) offering the following general features:

• Central repository of XML content and multimedia files (images, etc.)

• Taxonomies
• WebDAV interface
• Full text search
• Multi-language store

Calenco also supports, among others, the DITA1.1 format:

• Online preview and code editing
• Dependencies management
• Multi-format output (PDF, HTML, Javahelp, ePub, etc.)
• Automatic regeneration of output formats on content update

Thanks to the WebDAV interface it is very easy to edit content stored in Calenco with all major DITA editors.

Last but not least, Calenco is Open-Source, under the AGPL license. The company behind Calenco, NeoDoc, offers commercial support for it, but it can be used freely by downloading it for free.
