This half-day, web-based, interactive training course teaches authors how to create structured documents that conform to the DITA standard.  The class focuses on what writers of business documents need to do to create high performing DITA content including:

• Create DITA Topics, Tasks, References and Concepts
• Build DITA Maps
• Edit, Tag and Reuse Content
• Publish to Multiple Media

The training includes a trial of a tool to generate DITA from Microsoft Word for authors generating policies and procedures, training materials, marketing materials, sell sheets and other content that can take advantage of single source and multi-channel publishing.  The course focuses on high performance writing with DITA and minimizes XML and DITA-related technical jargon.
