 For Immediate Release

Stilo International introduces the world’s first on-demand content migration service – Stilo Migrate. This ground-breaking service, due to launch in the coming months, is set to dramatically simplify the content migration process.SWINDON, UK. – 9 October, 2007 – Stilo International (LSE:STL) today announced the introduction of Stilo Migrate, a ground-breaking on-demand service set to dramatically simplify the migration of legacy documents to DITA or other single-source publishing environments.  Building on the company’s leadership in solutions for advanced content migration, technical information publishing and product lifecycle management, this new service brings an added dimension to their solution offering and will provide a unique web-based environment for customers looking to convert their legacy content to XML.

The service, which is due to launch in the coming months, will allow users to upload source documents via the internet and guide them through a controlled workflow, with easy-to-follow-steps, to quickly arrive at their target XML schema or publishing application.  Developed using Stilo’s OmniMark technology for XML content processing, the service provides high levels of performance, scalability and precision.  Initially Stilo Migrate will process Word and FrameMaker source formats, with additional source formats to be added in the future.

Commenting on the introduction of this new service, Les Burnham, Stilo International’s CEO said, “Stilo Migrate offers a unique environment for content migration.  It is set to significantly improve upon the traditionally time-consuming and error-prone process of content migration, and provide a cost-effective subscription framework which will significantly reduce the average cost per page migrated compared to alternative approaches.”

He went on to say, “As part of our development process and prior to the scheduled launch, we are keen to engage with a limited number of organizations willing to participate in our Beta Test Program.  All selected participants will have the opportunity to recommend service enhancements directly to our development team and become better acquainted with the issues involved when undertaking major content migration projects.  Interested candidates can apply online at www.stilo.com/migrate.”

Speaking at the ISTC 2007 Annual Conference in Liverpool last week, where Stilo Migrate was being previewed, Marc Speyer, VP, Content Migration Services, added “As the adoption of XML publishing systems continues to increase, so does the requirement for content migration services.  However, this requirement has presented oragnizations with a number of challenges, not least of which is the amount of resources typically involved and the high costs associated.  Stilo is responding to these challenges with the introduction of Stilo Migrate – by ensuring that the content migration process is a lot less onerous and much more cost effective for customers in the future.
