Wim: The DITA-OT adds parent/child links by default for all XHTML- or HTML-based transformations. The user does not need to add @collection-type or @linking

Nancy's suggestion is the only way that you can handle this in DITA 1.2. In DITA 1.3, scoped keys will provide another mechanism for this functionality. I
