Getting started

Hi

I wanted to try DITA in developing the documents. I could not find any helpful source of information for beginners. Can anyone provide me a useful URL for a beginner?

Regards

Julie

Hi,

When I started about 2 years ago, I got a lot of help from the info on the following website: http://www.lone-dita.com besides the doc provided in the toolkit of course which is excellent for getting started.

Good luck,

Ray

Yes, that's a good question.

Check out the Wiki Knowledgebase (in the navigation bar above). Read all of those posts, including the DITA Maturity Model sections. This should get you started.

If you need more direction, consider joining DITAUsers.org. They'll teach you about DITA online for $100 a year.
