Stilo extends Migrate functionality with support for the DITA Learning and Training Content Specialization

May 29, 2014, Swindon, United Kingdom – Stilo International (LSE:STL) today announced that it has extended the range of conversion options for its cloud XML content conversion service, Migrate, to include support for the DITA Learning and Training Content (L&TC) Specialization.

The DITA L&TC Specialization provides a way of packaging and structuring DITA that is optimized for training materials, providing a content model with a standardized structure for topics, lesson progression, and content reuse.

Patrick Baker, VP Development & Professional Services at Stilo International, commented: “Many organizations today are faced with the challenge of providing learning materials in a more efficient and cost effective way, as well as capitalizing on the value of reusable content. Having an effective content and delivery model for learning materials can help deliver this. With this latest development of the Migrate service, it is now possible to automate the conversion of your existing content to the specific learning and training topic types in DITA, providing a foundation for delivering high-quality reusable training content, customized to specific learner requirements.”
