How to share user experiences on this site
DITA users are encouraged to share their experiences with others on this site in a variety of ways:
- Describe your specific experience using a product or service provider by selecting the 'Add new comment' link at the bottom of the vendor's listing in the DITA Products or Services directory.
- Add your organization's name to the Deployments page in the Wiki Knowledgebase.

Just checking in from LavaCon in New Orleans. Have mostly recovered from the soul-scarring sights on Bourbon Street last night, and am finishing the first day of the conference listening to Robert Anderson demonstrate specialization. It's rude of me to be blogging while he presents, but I kinda know this part :-)

Ditaval File Generation Utility - FREE
This utility parses all the DITA files referenced in a ditamap file (including all conrefs in any file) and gives a list of all conditional attribute values found in product, platform, audience and otherprops. Using this list, you can check that all the values are valid and that there are no mistaken values. You can then choose which attributes to include and exclude, and automatically generate a ditaval file.
